Full Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Facilitate and support customer meetings, serving as a reliable lead representative in the absence of project leadership to ensure continuous coverage and progress.
  • Execute daily coordination tasks to optimize project workflows, maintain operational momentum, and coordinate cross-functional technical teams.
  • Develop and maintain rigorous information security documentation, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) tracking, to ensure compliance and project integrity.
  • Leverage JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint to manage project tasks, epics, user stories, and defects. Build and maintain detailed Microsoft Project schedules to ensure visibility into milestone tracking, dependencies, and delivery progress.
  • Support Go/No-Go decision processes, validate readiness checklists, and develop Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to coordinate stakeholder access requirements across participating divisions.
  • Manage deployment tracking and implementation coordination for applications migrating into cloud environments (specifically AWS).


Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in senior project management and management consulting within complex federal/public-sector technology and healthcare IT environments.
  • Current PMP certification
  • Proven background supporting large government organizations, with deep domain experience specifically within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
  • Direct experience navigating project delivery for specialized VA initiatives, such as Telehealth, VA Online Scheduling (VAOS), Mobile Applications, and Veteran Billing Statement environments.
  • Demonstrated expert-level capability in using JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project for comprehensive task management, reporting, and workflow tracking.
  • Advanced proficiency managing SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and PMO governance while applying ITIL principles and frameworks.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and clients, which may involve delivering presentations ad must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations


The projected compensation range for this position is $89,100.00-$148,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
