Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

project management with
production supervision-ideal for a sharp problem-solver looking to make a tangible impact and grow into future roles in Engineering, Facilities, Supply Chain, or Technology.
🌟 What You'll DoProject Leadership- Lead cross-functional projects to improve workflows, optimize performance, and introduce new processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and drive solutions with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ensure documentation aligns with ISO standards.
Team Development- Train and mentor future Team Leaders.
- Support ongoing development for operators and support staff to foster a growth-focused culture.
Workforce Management- Step in for absent Team Leaders to oversee hourly associates and coordinate operations.
- Balance workloads, resolve day-to-day issues, and manage attendance to ensure accurate payroll.
Communication & Engagement- Champion open dialogue and collaborative problem-solving across departments.
- Take part in our Team Leader Continuous Improvement Team to shape strategy from the ground up.
Schedule- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Flexibility required to meet project deadlines
- Occasional night/weekend coverage when providing Team Leader support
What We're Looking ForRequired- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
- Proficiency in Excel (basic formulas) and Word
Preferred- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required-we welcome rising talent
- Strong analytical and communication skills across all plant levels

This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $79,166.00 - $108,854.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
