POSITION OVERVIEW: As a
Project Surveyor at
LJA Surveying, you will be responsible for supervision of field operations, technical and drafting staff, deed and map research and project management.
A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:- Responsible for supervision of field operations, technical and drafting staff, deed and map research, and project management.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate survey data into project plans.
- Use advanced equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, 3D scanners) and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to collect and analyze data
- Responsible for boundary survey calculations, analysis, and final map checking, abstracting title data, and client relations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:- Professional Licensed Surveyor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- 10 years of progressive experience in the industry
- 2+ years of experience after registration
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
