The role
We are seeking a Project Planner to be responsible for establishing and maintaining the project schedules for different infrastructure projects, assisting management on project activities, and reporting in a timely manner.
What You'll Do- Assist the different project managers on all subjects related to contract and project schedule
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated project schedule
- Collect and interpret project data from internal and external sources for schedule development
- Monitor project progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress to date against established baselines and milestone
- Facilitate schedule review meetings with project team and client
- Analyze critical paths, identify risks and propose mitigation plans
- Include resources (crew or equipment resource) and cost (activity generated) in project schedule
- Participate actively in the lean management policy of the company
- Collaborate closely with Contract Manager, Finance Manager and Operations teams to support project delivery
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- 10 + years of experience, with at least one experience working on a large-scale project (100+M CAD)
- Strong expertise with Primavera P6 is mandatory
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
- Strong organization, analytical and communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Open mindedness and cultural awareness
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Technical Skills & Competencies- Excellent managerial and leadership skills
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose alternatives during breakdowns
Other Requirements- Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application
- Willingness to work on-site at Sizewell C, Suffolk
