The Project Manager -- Transformations is responsible for leading end to end project management for MES, automation, and broader digital transformation initiatives across Westrock Coffee's manufacturing network. This role drives execution by coordinating cross functional teams, managing project plans, facilitating working sessions, and ensuring solutions land effectively with the business. The Project Manager plays a critical role in enabling Westrock's enterprise platform strategy and will grow into broader Foundry and enterprise systems work as the program evolves.
Job Duties:
- Own end-to-end project management for MES and automation initiatives across WRC manufacturing sites
- Build and maintain project plans, milestone schedules, and RAID logs -- and actively work them, not just maintain them
- Coordinate across engineering, plant ops, quality, commercial, and IT to keep work moving and decisions made
- Run working sessions -- set the agenda, facilitate the conversation, capture decisions, publish follow-ups
- Produce clear, concise status updates for program leadership; flag risks before they become problems
- Manage go-live and cutover planning in coordination with site and department leads
- Coordinate with vendors and integration partners where needed
- Work with implementation team to deliver solutions that land with the business
- Grow into broader Foundry and enterprise platform work as the program evolves
Qualifications:
- 2--5 years of project management experience; manufacturing, operations, or industrial environments a strong plus
- Enough technical exposure to speak credibly with automation/data engineers and plant ops leaders -- you don't need to be an expert, but you need to hold your own
- Strong communicator -- written and verbal; you can run a tight meeting and write a clean status update
- Good judgment about when to decide and when to escalate
- Highly motivated, coachable, and comfortable in environments that are still being built
- Proficiency in project tracking tools
- Willingness to travel to WRC manufacturing sites as needed
