Full Job Description
Lead complex risk assessment design initiatives, bringing together project management discipline, consulting expertise, and effective process and methodology design.

The Role

As a Project Manager, Risk Assessment Design at Capco, you'll lead and coordinate risk assessment design initiatives within complex financial services environments. This role combines hands-on project management with business consulting, requiring you to bring structure to complex programmes while helping clients design and embed effective risk assessment processes and methodologies.

You'll work across business, risk, compliance, operations, and technology teams to establish clear delivery plans, facilitate decision-making, manage dependencies, and translate business and regulatory needs into practical risk assessment approaches.

What You'll Do
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of risk assessment design initiatives, managing scope, plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and outcomes.
  • Design, document, and enhance risk assessment processes and methodologies, ensuring they are practical, consistent, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Apply project management methodologies and governance processes to establish clear delivery structures, reporting, decision-making, and accountability.
  • Facilitate workshops with business and functional stakeholders to define requirements, assess current processes, identify gaps, and agree future-state approaches.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and provide clear reporting and recommendations to stakeholders, helping projects progress from design through implementation and adoption.

What We're Looking For
  • Demonstrated project management experience delivering complex business, risk, regulatory, or transformation initiatives within financial services.
  • Business consulting experience, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop practical solutions, and work effectively with client stakeholders.
  • Experience designing, improving, and implementing business processes and methodologies, ideally including risk assessment or risk management frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes and methodologies, including planning, governance, RAID management, dependencies, stakeholder management, and delivery reporting.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams and translating complex requirements into clear actions and deliverables.

Bonus Points For
  • Experience within banking, payments, risk, regulatory, or controls-focused transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, risk and control frameworks, or related governance processes.
  • Experience supporting operating model, process design, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Relevant project management or change qualifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with Canadian financial services and the associated regulatory and risk environment.

Benefits

We offer a competitive, people-first benefits package designed to support every aspect of your life:
  • Comprehensive Benefits Coverage - 100% company-paid health, life, and disability insurance effective from Day 1 of employment.
  • Retirement Savings Program - Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with the option of receiving a matching employer contribution.
