We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Job Summary:

Oversees one or more Collaborative Information Environment (CIE) activities and projects of a highly complex nature. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project and meeting deadlines of project. Familiar with the project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.

CIE activities encompass a wide range of staff activities, tools, processes, and documents supporting the client's decision-making capabilities. A deep understanding of SharePoint, SharePoint Online, Power BI, SharePoint Power Apps, and workflows is required. Working experience developing, administering, managing SharePoint environments.

Serves as primary interface between CIE cadre and client's Knowledge Management Officer (KMO) for CIE projects, activities, tasks, and support.

Job Duties:
  • Serves as senior functional expert and manager for CIE activities and projects. Manages CIE projects in accordance with Program Management Institute (PMI) standards and practices.
  • Responsible for configuring, managing, and when necessary, migrating SharePoint platforms across various domains.
  • Supports identification and analysis of available and required knowledge, and the subsequent planning and control of processes actions that enable process mapping activities across staff.
  • Provide Site Administration and staff support for SharePoint Team Sites, including list design, page layouts, and permissions to meet functional requirements.
  • Assists organizational content managers and owners in institutionalizing web-based document management best practices.
  • Supports command change management processes.
  • Collaborates with Chief of Staff (COS) and other staff elements in support of CIE activities.
  • Works with KMO to develop and promulgate client guidance and documentation.
  • Serves as primary CIE trainer for client leadership and staff; focused on educating and coaching constructive CIE practices and behaviors.
  • Functional lead role for Content Management (CM) cadre. Provides functional training, education, and advice related command CM; specifically managing subordinate element content.
  • Will support on-call and after duty hours (including supporting operationally critical support through holidays and staff absences, after-hours, on-call, and incident response support services).


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience conducting SharePoint activities.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience providing project management support.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Security+ Certification.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)-provided telecommunications services and devices.
  • Current Top Secret SCI clearance.
  • Certification or extensive experience in one of more: Lean Six Sigma, PMI Program Management Professional, Agile Development processes.


NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $75,640 - $113,460. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
