About the Role:

The Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating manufacturing projects from inception to completion. This position is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting the quality standards set by the organization. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, schedules, and documentation that align with the overall business objectives. Additionally, this role will involve monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes. Ultimately, the Project Manager will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools beyond Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Maintain thorough project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, and change requests.
• Identify potential risks and issues, implementing proactive solutions to mitigate impact on project delivery.

Skills:

The required skills in project coordination and management software will be utilized daily to create and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are tracked and deadlines are met. Proficiency in project documentation is essential for maintaining clear communication among team members and stakeholders, allowing for effective decision-making. The ability to navigate the project life cycle will enable the Project Manager to anticipate challenges and implement solutions proactively. Strong organizational skills will be critical in managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, will enhance the Project Manager's ability to drive process improvements and optimize project outcomes.
