Join Our Team as a Project Manager Inline Inspection (ILI). Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving complex projects to successful completion? We're looking for an experience Project Manager to lead the Inline Inspection (ILI) project across the USA based out of the Houston, TX office. In this role, you'll be at the center of operations coordinating between clients, field teams, and internal departments to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with API 1163 and ILI-PQ Standards. This is more than just project oversight. You'll balance technical decision-making with customer engagement, while supporting long-term team development and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: • Client & Project Coordination: - Act as the primary liaison for clients throughout the full ILI project lifecycle. Ensure project requirements are clearly understood and executed to meet expectations and timelines. • Project Planning & Risk Management: - Lead planning activities including technical requirement gathering, pipeline feasibility assessments, and risk analysis using CHEQS and PLQ tools. Make informed "go/no-go" decisions and determine appropriate tool selection and configurations. • Scheduling & Documentation: - Use internal scheduling tools to organize and track all project phases-from pre-mobilization through demobilization. Ensure all project data, safety protocols, and client specifications are documented and traceable for audits and quality control. • Field Execution Oversight: - Monitor field operations in real time, ensuring ILI tool launches, runs, and receives are executed safely and in accordance with specifications. Provide direction to field crews and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations. • Issue Resolution & Escalation: - Act as the escalation point for field-related concerns, making immediate safety- and compliance-related decisions as needed. Coordinate with Operations Manager to resolve tool, resource, or scheduling conflicts. • Post-Run Review & Reporting: - Lead debriefs with field technicians, validate tool performance, and ensure all mechanical and functional inspections are completed. Confirm data quality and reporting align with client deliverables and internal standards. • Team Development & Training: - Provide mentorship, training, and technical support to new and existing operations personnel. Participate in onboarding, performance feedback, and contribute to operational knowledge-sharing across teams. • Safety & Compliance Leadership: - Promote a strong safety culture through active engagement, incident investigation, and adherence to regulatory and company standards. Ensure all safety documentation and corrective actions are properly recorded and traceable. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with Sales, Shop, and Field teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Maintain transparency and proactive communication across departments. • Operational Flexibility: - Travel to field sites as required for project oversight, client meetings, or internal audits. Be available for after-hours support and operational emergencies. Education & Experience: • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical disciplines is preferred. • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or project management role, preferably within a service-oriented environment. • Technical experience in the Inline Inspection (ILI) industry or related pipeline services is strongly preferred. • Proven ability to train, mentor, and evaluate employees in operational roles. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Valid Class C Driver's License and the ability to meet company driving eligibility standards. • Valid passport is considered an asset and may be required for cross-border travel. • Skills & Competencies: • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on understanding of tools, equipment, and technical systems. • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams. • High attention to detail with strong accountability and a commitment to quality control. • Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing competing demands, and organizing complex workflows. • Solid pipeline inspection knowledge and operational insight, especially within ILI environments. • Exceptional planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities in dynamic project settings. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Self-motivated, professional, and committed to upholding high safety standards. • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in field environments as needed. • This is a safety-sensitive position, requiring focus, sound judgment, and adherence to all safety protocols.
