Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Electrical Power preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in project management for electrical maintenance shutdowns or switchgear commissioning.
• Experience with testing software and tools (Doble, Power DB, etc.) is preferred.
• NETA Certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Basic PC skills required; experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
• OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E certifications are desirable; training available.
• Ability to work safely and follow electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical jobs including inspecting and troubleshooting systems up to 500kV.
• Conduct at least 50% of duties in the field.
• Collaborate with the sales department on estimating and quoting jobs.
• Assign individual tasks to crew members based on job requirements.
• Maintain communication with customers; attend meetings to update on job progress.
• Identify opportunities for job expansion and discuss with customers and Account Managers.
• Monitor and manage job budgets by reviewing technician time and material costs.
• Conduct final job walks with customers to ensure successful energizing and job completion.
