Commercial drywall, framing, taping, painting, acoustical ceilings experience strongly preferred.

Looking to move from the field into construction management?

All Wall is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Alaska operations while taking ownership of key project management responsibilities. This position is designed to develop into a future construction management role and offers a unique opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow alongside experienced construction leaders on commercial projects throughout Alaska.

The ideal candidate has experience in commercial interior construction and understands the work we perform every day: metal stud framing, drywall hanging and finishing, acoustical ceilings, commercial painting, and related specialty systems.

This position is designed for someone who wants to take the next step in their career-from building projects in the field to helping lead them.
What Makes This Opportunity Different

The successful candidate will spend approximately two months training at our corporate office in Post Falls, Idaho, learning our systems, processes, and approach to project management before transitioning into a key support role for our Alaska operations.

You'll work directly with our Alaska Regional Construction Manager, who advanced from the field into leadership and now oversees projects throughout Alaska. This role provides a rare opportunity to learn directly from someone who has successfully made the transition from the field to management.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to project management, estimating, scheduling, cost tracking, procurement, client communication, field operations, and commercial construction leadership. This is not a passive support role-the successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of assigned responsibilities, contribute to project success, and grow into increasing levels of responsibility and decision-making authority.

This position is intended to develop into a larger leadership role as our Alaska operations continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities & Areas of Ownership
• Assist Project Managers with the execution of commercial construction projects
• Take ownership of assigned project management tasks and deliverables
• Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate directly with field superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
• Support project scheduling, procurement, and manpower planning activities
• Assist with estimating and project closeout tasks
• Maintain project records and reporting systems
• Learn and assume increasing responsibility for the financial and operational aspects of commercial construction management
Preferred Qualifications
• Commercial interiors experience strongly preferred, including metal stud framing, drywall, taping, painting, or acoustical ceilings
• Candidates with less field experience may be considered if they demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with construction documents, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to grow into a construction management role
Ideal Candidate
• A Foreman ready for the next step
• A Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent looking to move into project management
• A Project Engineer seeking greater responsibility
• A motivated construction professional interested in long-term career growth
Location

Preference will be given to candidates located in the greater Anchorage area. Our long-term vision is to continue expanding our Alaska operations, and we are seeking someone who wants to grow with us and help build that future.
Opportunity for Growth

This position is intended for someone who wants more than an administrative role. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership, make meaningful contributions to project execution, and steadily grow into greater leadership responsibilities as our Alaska operations continue to expand.
If you're ready to transition from building projects to helping lead them, we'd like to talk with you.
