Full Job Description
Davidson is seeking a Project Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama on the PAC-3 program. The PAC-3 Interceptor is a battle-proven, hit-to-kill interceptor that is critical to the defense of our nation and our allies. This position will directly support the Seeker Integrated Product Team (IPT) on the Special Test Equipment (STE) redesign effort underway to meet increased production demand.

In this position, you will track and provide updates to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), provide schedule variance analysis, oversee resource allocation, track and report on cost/schedule risks, conduct status meetings, support program integration meetings, track actions and brief leadership. Work is primarily on-site and on an alternate 4x10 work schedule around core hours of 8am - 4pm. Time may be flexed over the two-week pay period with appropriate coordination with IPT leadership.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop an IMS for the STE Redesign Effort and, after approval, integrate the schedule into the Program's IMS.
  • Provide weekly updates to the IMS
  • Develop, track and report on schedule variance every month
  • Provide resource loading for each functional team supporting the Seeker IPT based on the IMS
  • Participate in the current battle rhythm with internal and external stakeholders presenting schedule performance status and actions / status of actions.
  • Coordinate with other Product Teams, Functional team and stakeholders to execute to the IMS.
  • Track and status cost and schedules risks and/or opportunities using the RIO (Risk, Issue, Opportunity) report format in the Boeing Opportunity Risk and Issue System (BORIS).
  • Support the Certificate of Conformance (CoC) certification for all new/modified STE.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully integrate and oversee a large, complex efforts
  • Experience with resource-loading and resource allocation tied to schedule baselines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EVMS standards
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Tools, and specific experience using Microsoft Project to plan and track complex, long-duration efforts.

Desired Competencies:
  • PMP certification
  • Prior experience supporting CoC certification activities.
  • Experience with PAC-3, missile defense, or other ballistic missile defense programs.

Clearance:
  • Current Secret Clearance required
