Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking a
Project Engineer to support the Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft as a part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Key Duties: - Provide engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
- Work with customers and management to obtain approval.
- Lead project execution to complete the work statement.
- Identify performance metrics.
- Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program.
- Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.
- Compare actual results to the baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned.
- Provide technical and integration leadership for the development and execution of the project or team plans.
- Support spacecraft test engineering efforts, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance.
- Work under minimal direction.

- 5 or more years of related project/system engineering experience
- Possesses strong troubleshooting capabilities required to document and resolve non-conformances on both ground support equipment and flight hardware.
- Experience reviewing test plans and reports.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:- Experience with space systems.
- Experience working on a NASA manned space program.
