Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking a
System Engineer to support the Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft as a part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program. This position is 100% onsite located in Houston, TX, with the option to work onsite from our Florida location.
Key Duties:- Design and maintain digital system models using SysML and other modeling languages such as CAMEO to represent complex systems.
- Ensure system models are accurate, compliant with standards, and support engineering tasks such as analysis and decision-making.
- Capture and maintain traceability of system requirements within the architecture model, linking to relevant design artifacts.
- Integrate MBSE with digital engineering activities such as configuration management and system simulation.
- Translate customer reference architecture models into internal architecture models.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of MBSE training, tools, and processes.
- Mentor systems engineers in MBSE best practices and tool usage.

- 5 or more years of experience developing MBSE system models using Cameo/NoMagic.
- Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
- Experience applying model-based approaches on engineering projects and integrating models into architecture and digital engineering platforms.
- Bachelors degree in relevant field.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:- Possession of an Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP-MBF) certification.
- Ability to provide technical and programmatic recommendations on the development, integration, and application of digital engineering and MBSE concepts.
