Responsibilities

  • Coordinate team efforts to fulfill project objectives
  • Report project outcomes and highlight shortfalls to management
  • Suggest corrective actions for projects not meeting goals, organizing regular updates
  • Keep track of estimated product costs while supporting Lean initiatives

Position Summary

Military Flight Controls Division

Position Summary:

Responsible for the implementation of product commercialization. Interact with all functional areas within the Value Stream organization. Coordinate cross functional activities that may include the following: marketing sales, planning, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials, production and cost accounting as required to meet the goals for assigned product commercialization projects.

Scope/ Supervision and Interaction:

Reports Works with Quality, Production, Engineering and related departments as required.

Organize and direct as necessary to ensure successful project milestones are achieved.

Essential Functions:
  • Responsible of all aspects of the product commercialization process including project function, schedule, and budget.
  • Working with other functional departments, develop project implementation plans.
  • Track projects compared to plan with focus on function, schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate team activities to meet all the projects goals.
  • Monitor project results and communicate any shortfalls with the project team and management.
  • Recommend corrective action when a project plan does not meet objectives. -Hold regular update meetings.
  • Track and monitor projected product costs.
  • Support and participate in all Lean activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or Marketing.
  • 2-3 years of job-related experience.
  • PC literate (MS Office, Lotus Notes, MS Project and AutoCAD preferred.)
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with contacts.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

Competitive Compensation
  • Pay Range: $84915 to $134795 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
