Full Job Description
The Project Controller will collaborate with the field Project team, entity Controllers and VP of Finance and Operations to ensure all project cost and schedule risks are identified and reported as required by contractual and internal requirements.

Essential Functions:
  • Assist the Accounting Manager and VP of Finance and Operations in the preparation of project cost
  • Develop, update, and monitor individual project work breakdown structures, schedules and budgets in conjunction with project team members
  • Identify and track all changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management
  • Prepare and maintain project specific cost/schedule/risk analyses, data and reports.
  • Actively participate in monthly F&O meetings to discuss profit center job costing.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining the project budget, tracking expenses, and identifying potential cost overruns.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining the project schedule, monitoring progress against the schedule, and identifying potential delays.
  • Analyze project performance data, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to the project manager.
  • Prepare regular project progress reports, providing stakeholders with updates on the project's status.
  • Track and manage project resources, ensuring that the right resources are available at the right time.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, complete, and readily available.
  • Identify and assess project risks and help develop mitigation plans.
  • Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is kept informed.
