Job Summary: The BoatUS Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Administrator to help plan, coordinate, execute, and evaluate boating safety and environmental initiatives. In this role, the Project Administrator will support grant-funded projects, partner coordination, project tracking, reporting, and outreach activities that advance the Foundation's mission. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, adaptable, and skilled at problem solving in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Foundation team to develop, implement, and manage boating safety and environmental projects in alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and tracking tools for grant-funded and programmatic initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal staff, volunteers, vendors, partners, funders, and community members to ensure successful project execution and implementation.
- Lead or support regular project check-ins, meetings, status updates, and follow-up communications.
- Prepare project reports, evaluations, updates, and supporting materials for funders, leadership, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate project components related to marketing, public relations, video production, events, and outreach as needed.
- Travel periodically throughout the year to conferences, project sites, and Foundation events.
Qualifications: Required- Bachelor's degree or four years of related work experience in lieu of degree.
- At least three years of project management, project coordination, nonprofit program administration, grant management, or related experience.
- Experience or interest in environmental issues, sustainability, boating safety, education, outreach, or a related field is a plus.
- Public speaking, partner engagement, or stakeholder communication experience preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively to overcome challenges.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to unexpected situations and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:Preferred- Strong project planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, assess risks, propose solutions, and support high-quality project outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey project updates, requirements, and expectations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills to work effectively with internal staff, volunteers, community partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to balance competing demands, follow through on details, and deliver high-quality results.
- Comfort with a range of technologies, software, and tools, with the ability to quickly learn and leverage new systems as needed.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, or Marketing Clouds, Monday.com or similar systems is helpful but not required.
- Growth mindset and commitment to ongoing professional development, including staying current with relevant trends, best practices, and methodologies.

Annual Salary$73,800.00 - $115,825.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
