Position Summary

The Program Manager for Technology and Security (T&S) Contract Governance plays a critical role in enabling effective third-party management across the organization by ensuring that all technology and cybersecurity-related contracts are governed through a consistent, transparent, and value-driven process. This role is responsible not only for administering the governance framework, but also for evolving it to better meet the needs of a complex, fast-moving T&S environment.

Operating within the TPSO team, the Program Manager serves as a central point of coordination across Sourcing, Finance, Legal, Architecture, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure that contracts are reviewed holistically, balancing cost, risk, compliance, and delivery outcomes. The role requires strong program management discipline to manage intake, facilitate decision-making forums, and maintain clear documentation, while also driving continuous improvement to streamline workflows, reduce cycle times, and enhance stakeholder experience.

This position is both operational and strategic in nature. The Program Manager is expected to provide visibility into the T&S contract landscape, identify systemic issues, and lead efforts to standardize and scale governance practices across the organization. Success in this role requires the ability to navigate complexity, influence without authority, and translate enterprise governance standards into practical, repeatable processes that support business outcomes.

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint $85,000 - $106,000. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
