Position Overview:
The Project Manager - Medical Group Strategic Operations serves as a key operational and strategic partner supporting a large multi-specialty medical group comprised of more than 600 clinicians across 25+ specialties. This role is employed within the broader health system structure while working closely with the Medical Group Leadership Team and physician enterprise leadership.
This position is responsible for leading multiple high-priority operational and strategic initiatives from inception through implementation. The Project Manager will coordinate project timelines, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, manage stakeholder communication, and ensure successful execution of organizational priorities.
In addition to project leadership responsibilities, this role provides operational support across the Physician and APC Services and Human Resources team and may include support covering physician engagement, physician compensation modelling and initiatives, employment agreement transitions, and strategic service line development.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, adaptable, and capable of managing complex initiatives involving physician leaders, operational teams, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning, including group facilitation and plan development.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business plan development, including qualitative and quantitative research and analysis.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of internal and external customers, including patients, physicians, payors.

Pay Range is $135,054.40 to $202,592.00 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
