Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in NPI Operations.
- Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing operations.
Preferred qualifications:- 5 years of experience in hardware and manufacturing operations.
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Knowledge of hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation and assembly and test processes.
- Ability to communicate project requirements and schedules.
- Excellent leadership, investigative, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creativity and strategic skills.

You will ensure all products are built to Google's stringent quality and manufacturing requirements. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres.

Responsibilities - Lead large, complex, cross-functional NPI Program teams within Google Cloud, Platforms Engineering, and external partners to prepare from concept to production ramp along with managing end-to-end product life-cycle transitions.
- Plan and execute NPI operations development activities and ensure successful transition from NPI to production delivering cost, quality and capacity parameters. Ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals and KPIs.
- Manage Manufacturing Ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., Hardware/Design Product maturity, material availability, Quality/Reliability, Cost/Assembly/Test/BOM/Capacity Ramp readiness and transition plans).
- Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the product operations and supply chain to enable Google Cloud Product Roadmap, accounting for risks, changes in schedule, budget, resources and customer demand.
