Job Description

As Program Manager, Global Quality and Community of Practice (CoP), you will provide comprehensive oversight and coordination of quality program monitoring activities across the enterprise.

In this role, you'll establish and maintain the global Quality Community of Practice, ensuring best practices, lessons learned, and compliance expectations are shared and embedded throughout the quality organization. You'll own global quality program tracking, lead compliance communication strategies, and enable collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing among quality professionals worldwide. If you excel at program management, cross-functional coordination, and building a unified culture of quality and regulatory adherence, this role is for you.
Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management System (QMS) standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO) and how they impact program execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with global quality governance models, roles and responsibilities, and alignment across sites, regions, and functions.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA).
  • Proficiency with eQMS, Document Management Systems (DMS), and reporting/dashboard tools for tracking programs and KPIs.
  • Awareness of cross-cultural communication and collaboration practices in a global environment.
Skills
  • Proven ability to develop and manage global program trackers, dashboards, and executive reports for complex quality initiatives.
  • Expertise in defining and monitoring KPIs, analyzing quality data, and identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Strong project management skills, including implementation and governance of standardized templates, tools, and reporting formats.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; experienced in coordinating progress reviews and alignment meetings with global quality leaders.
  • Ability to identify program risks and roadblocks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive proactive issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to support leadership governance with structured, data-driven insights, analysis, and documentation.
  • Skilled at compliance communications-translating complex requirements into clear updates, expectations, and guidance for diverse audiences.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and sharing best practices in quality management, project management, and compliance communication.
Behaviors
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple global initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Collaborative and facilitative, building a strong Community of Practice that encourages sharing, alignment, and mutual support.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, anticipating risks and driving timely mitigation rather than reacting to issues.
  • Strong influencer without direct authority, able to align cross-functional and cross-regional teams around common quality goals and practices.
  • Passionate about fostering a culture of quality and compliance, promoting awareness, ownership, and continuous learning.
Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Quality Management, Business, or a related field required. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in quality systems, program management, or related fields, preferably in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare).
  • Significant experience in global program tracking, KPI management, and executive reporting.
  • Demonstrated leadership in implementing project management standards and driving continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $107,600-$167,700 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, education, business needs and market demand.
