The Impact You Will Have As a Program Manager for Software Delivery, you will lead complex, cross-functional software delivery programs that translate WDTech's strategic priorities into delivered business outcomes. You will partner closely with senior leadership, engineering, product, and design teams to drive alignment, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure successful execution across multiple initiatives.
Your work will bring structure, visibility, and predictability to software delivery efforts through effective planning, governance, communication, and coordination. Success in this role will be measured not only by delivery outcomes, but also by your ability to improve delivery practices, strengthen operational clarity, and help teams execute effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Primary Responsibilities - Lead and manage software delivery programs to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and business objectives.
- Define program goals, success metrics, and delivery roadmaps in collaboration with technology stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-project dependencies, risks, timelines, and priorities to support cohesive end-to-end delivery.
- Establish and maintain governance, reporting, and communication frameworks that scale across teams and audiences.
- Drive collaboration and decision-making across engineering, product, design, and business teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and blockers by surfacing concerns early and driving resolution plans.
- Ensure consistent and pragmatic use of delivery methodologies, including Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models.
- Facilitate executive and cross-functional decision-making through concise insights, reporting, metrics, and recommendations.
- Champion continuous improvement in delivery practices, tooling, operational processes, and team collaboration.
- Support resource planning, capacity management, and prioritization activities across programs and teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 7+ years of experience in software delivery, program management, or related technology leadership roles.
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple concurrent software delivery initiatives or programs.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional software programs from initiation through delivery.
- Demonstrated experience working with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Experience operating within enterprise-scale or SaaS technology environments.
- PMP, SAFe, or equivalent program/project management certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and scaling methodologies (e.g., SAFe, LeSS), including the judgment to apply them pragmatically based on team and organizational needs.
- Solid understanding of modern software engineering and product delivery practices.
- Strong resource management skills, including forecasting, capacity planning, prioritization, and tradeoff analysis.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across executive, product, and engineering audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise status updates, risk summaries, and decision-support materials.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to translate ambiguity into structured, actionable delivery plans.
- Experience with modern delivery tooling (e.g., Jira, Linear, Confluence) and an understanding of how tooling enables effective delivery practices.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, surface, and resolve risks before they become delivery issues.
- Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
- Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders
This position has an estimated base salary of $145,000 - $165,000 plus a discretionary bonus. An employment offer is based on the applicant's relevant work experience, applicable knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
