Job description
• Create, manage and ensure adherence to the Program Master Schedule, driving all functions to schedule adherence.
• In conjunction with the North American PMO group, lead the Risk Management Process, identify and assess all program risks, and manage appropriate action plans to ensure minimum impact to the company and to the Customer's Master Schedule.
• Responsible for all functional NRC program budget submissions using Osmoz, monthly NRC cost and margin tracking against budgets, budget control and reporting.
• Track scope evolution and identify any scope creep, to support NRC cost recovery initiatives with the Commercial group when identified.
• Define the Statement of Work, Work Breakdown Structure, Cost Breakdown Structure, Resource Breakdown Structure and validate Work Package Agreements.
• Customer focal for all matters concerning status reporting, program planning and work scope changes.
• Always maintain an excellent working relationship with the customer and ensure timely responses to customer queries.
• Program focal/lead for the following activities: a) Development and Industrialization Toll Gate reviews. b) Documentation submittals (SDRLs) as defined by the Customer's SOW. c) Support of Engineering audits. d) Prepare, finalize and present Program Management updates for internal and customer topics.
• Lead the Integrated Program Team (IPT) to achieve program performance against planned objectives.
• Responsible for the management of all phases of the program including participation in the preparation of proposals, including evaluation of contractual terms and conditions.
• Keep abreast of all work performed on the program and ensure that all outputs required by the contract are complete within the defined schedule and to the required quality standard, report on any discrepancies.
• Manage the change board, with an emphasis on minimizing impact to NRC and RC budgets and schedule , looking for cost reductions and identifying rationale that will allow changes to be chargeable to either the Customer or our Suppliers.
• Monitor costs and schedule to validate that program activities are within budget, on time and work with the other functions to ensure the program remains on target.
• Ensure that all chargeable activities are asserted to the customer.
• Responsible for program profitability and compliance to the business model.
• Lead internal and Customer audit activities as required.
• Define terms of engagement for the program team (meetings, program reviews, dashboards, etc).
• Customer focal for after hours enquiries and support as required.
• Support any new program bids as they arise.

Education &/or Certifications:

Work Experience:
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Aerospace or related industry.

Specialized Knowledge:
• Good understanding of Development and Industrialization processes, as well as production flows, in an Aerospace environment preferred.
Technical, production, commercial and financial knowledge.
• Strong influencing and relationship building skills.
• Excellent working knowledge on all Microsoft Office applications.

Communication Skills
Internal: Superior verbal and written communication skills (including working effectively with others and consistent with the company's values), as well as excellent presentation abilities required.
External: Ability to work effectively with the customers on a daily basis.
Main Objectives & Basic Function:
Support development programs using Safran LS Program Management tools, processes, and best practices. Responsible for customer liaison on all topics concerning program requirements. Provide leadership, direction and strategic guidance along with effective reporting to ensure the successful execution of Programs Technical, Cost, and Delivery objectives

Salary: $90,500 to $113,000
