Program Manager - Content Onboarding OperationsOverviewWe are seeking a Program Manager to own partner onboarding and operational execution for a large-scale content platform. This role will manage onboarding projects across cross-functional teams, serve as an operational point of contact for partners experiencing issues, and drive accountability across Business Development, Product, and Engineering.
The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive program manager who can manage multiple workstreams, navigate escalations, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve operational processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end partner onboarding projects, including non-standard situations and escalations.
- Serve as the first line of operational support for partners experiencing content pipeline, metadata, feed, or payment issues.
- Participate in external partner calls to explain technical integration requirements, content ingestion workflows, and platform capabilities.
- Partner with Business Development teams and external partners across international markets to ensure onboarding processes scale effectively.
- Define and propose tooling and process improvements based on recurring partner issues and feedback.
- Track engineering tickets on behalf of partners, provide clear context to development teams, and drive resolution timelines.
- Build reporting mechanisms to track onboarding progress, partner health, and issue trends.
- Support international expansion readiness, including regional payment setup, metadata localization, rights verification, and quality assurance.
- Identify and implement process improvements that reduce partner time-to-live and recurring issues.
- Manage recurring partner meetings, track open issues, and coordinate resolution across stakeholders.
- Communicate program status, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership through clear written updates and narratives.
A Day in the LifeA typical day may include reviewing open partner tickets, identifying onboarding milestones at risk, preparing for partner integration calls, and coordinating with Engineering to resolve technical issues. The role will also involve working with Business Development teams to align onboarding timelines, developing process or tooling improvements based on recurring issues, maintaining onboarding trackers, and providing program updates to leadership.
Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of program or project management experience.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects involving technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with content operations, partner onboarding, or platform enablement at scale.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to quickly understand new processes, tools, and technical concepts.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ownership and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with content delivery pipelines, feed management, or streaming media operations.
- Experience working with international partners across multiple time zones and locales.
- Familiarity with self-service tooling platforms and product feedback loops.
- Experience working across Business Development, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Track record of building operational mechanisms and processes from scratch.
- Some technical ability or knowledge.
- Electrical or mechanical experience is a plus.
