Are you passionate about helping teams turn strategic goals into clear plans and deliver greater impact for their customers? We are seeking a Program Manager, Sales to oversee a portfolio of cross-functional Sales initiatives and bring structure to planning and execution across teams. In this role, you will translate Sales priorities into actionable plans, connect work and dependencies across projects, identify risks, and maintain visibility into progress and deliverables. Partnering with Sales Executive Leadership and teams across the organization, you will help navigate competing priorities, identify where decisions are needed, and provide a clear view of the portfolio so Sales can better serve our brokers, producers, employer groups, and members.

The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $80,000 - $125,500. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

  • Oversee the Sales project portfolio, keeping priorities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables aligned to business objectives.
  • Establish consistent portfolio planning and execution through standardized intake processes and workback plans with defined milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, and due dates.
  • Ensure project scope, requirements, priorities, expected outcomes, and target metrics are clearly defined, facilitating trade-offs and resolving gaps throughout delivery.
  • Lead annual Sales planning and QBR coordination, overseeing timelines and inputs and partnering with Sales leaders on prioritization, capacity, sequencing, and resource trade-offs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional Sales initiatives by sequencing work, facilitating handoffs, and addressing dependencies across Sales and partner teams.
  • Build and maintain Smartsheet dashboards to monitor portfolio health, milestones, risks, dependencies, and upcoming deliverables, highlighting projects that require attention.
  • Promote accountability for project commitments by tracking deliverables, following up with responsible team members, and escalating risks, issues, and delays that may impact timelines or outcomes.
  • Ensure projects follow established governance requirements, including required planning, reporting, approvals, and decision-making processes.
  • Support adoption of Sales initiatives by incorporating stakeholder impacts, communications, change readiness, and adoption activities into project plans and monitoring progress through implementation.
  • Own leadership and Board reporting cycles, coordinating timelines and contributors while providing a portfolio-level view of progress, risks, key decisions, and business topics requiring leadership attention.

  • Knowledge of project planning and portfolio management practices, including intake, prioritization, workback planning, governance, and portfolio tracking.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives and supporting annual planning, QBRs, Board updates, and executive reporting cycles.
  • Ability to influence and create accountability across teams without direct authority, including navigating competing priorities and facilitating trade-offs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise updates tailored to different audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate deadlines, inputs, and deliverables across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet or a comparable project and portfolio management platform.
  • Ability to build portfolio dashboards and reports that communicate project health, risks, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of change management practices that support implementation and adoption of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience supporting a Sales organization or working in healthcare or insurance preferred
