Capgemini is hiring an Onsite Technical Program Manager to lead complex cloud modernization and transformation programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning the scoping, planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale cloud initiatives while partnering with business and technology teams to drive strategic outcomes. This highly visible role requires strong leadership, technical depth, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver results in complex, fast-paced environments.
Your Role
Own end-to-end program planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery of large-scale cloud modernization and transformation initiatives.
Lead cross-functional technical programs from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy.
Partner with engineering, product, operations, cybersecurity, and leadership teams to deliver committed program goals, timelines, and budgets.
Build and maintain detailed program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and governance processes.
Anticipate bottlenecks, proactively identify risks, manage escalations, and drive issue resolution.
Balance business priorities with technical constraints and make informed trade-off decisions to achieve program objectives.
Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and program metrics, including cost savings, operational efficiency, quality improvements, and delivery velocity.
Drive alignment and communication across multiple engineering teams within and outside the business unit.
Ensure technical capabilities delivered meet quality, security, compliance, and reliability requirements.
Your skills and experience
10+ years of experience in technical program or project management across cross-functional teams, with at least 4+ years leading cloud transformation initiatives.
Experience leading large, cross-functional technical programs from concept through successful delivery.
5+ years of software development experience.
Experience using analytics to translate business challenges into investigative solutions and measurable outcomes.
Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), system architecture, and cloud technologies.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements, timelines, deliverables, and business outcomes.
Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or other modern software delivery frameworks.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and MS Project.
Strong experience in program planning, resource coordination, risk management, budget management, and execution oversight.
Proven ability to identify, track, and mitigate program risks through a proactive and structured approach.
Experience ensuring delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant technical solutions.
Strong executive communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Experience facilitating alignment and collaboration across engineering, business, and operations organizations.
Ability to prepare and present program dashboards, status reports, and executive-level presentations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate trade-offs and drive data-informed decisions..
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within distributed teams.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $82,082 to $ $193,440
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
