Work Type: Full Time

Work Schedule: 8 Hr (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Pay Range: $38.02 - $55.18 per hour

Summary:
This position is responsible for the design and implementation of system-wide programs and initiatives that enhance organizational culture and foster a sense of belonging as prioritized in the Rush Plan to Reduce Gaps in Health Outcomes and Experiences ("The Rush Plan"). Provides subject matter expertise aimed at fostering an environment in which all faculty, employees, learners and providers feel heard, recognized, and have opportunities to grow. This role partners with organizational leaders, HR, affinity and employee resource groups, and other key constituents to measurably impact experience and retention outcomes.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer; strong spreadsheet and database skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to function independently and in a team-based environment. Ability to work effectively with various levels of employees and management; ability to build consensus across diverse groups.
• Willing to work some evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:
• Manage, facilitate programming, and partner with subject matter experts to successfully implement belonging initiatives such as Solidarity Circles, Restorative practices, Intergroup Dialogue, SEED program, and others.
• Implement surveys, focus groups, and other assessments to recommend data-driven initiatives or project/program enhancements.
• Create, monitor and forecast program budgets. Ensure related expenditures meet budget targets and adhere to organizational policies.
• Monitor existing policies/practices and recommend improvements to ensure equitable experiences and outcomes for all, as needed.
• Develop and implement system-wide standards and guidance for mentorship, sponsorship, committees, and other growth, experience, or retention initiatives. Facilitate related workshops and training.
• Design and execute a celebration and awareness strategy to recognize holidays, special observances, key events, and the cultural heritage of all our patients, people, and learners.
• Serve as the administrator of the Rush DEI Community of Practice committees
• Oversee and scale Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to ensure self-governance and alignment with Rush strategic priorities. Partner with student affinity groups to amplify diverse voices and promote inclusion.
• Implement a comprehensive listening strategy that captures feedback and drives improvement while maximizing leadership visibility and engagement.
• Partner with Sr. Program Manager to optimize communication plans for programs and initiatives.
• Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership highlighting progress, insights, and recommendations.
• Implement methods to evaluate program impact, resource allocation and effectiveness.
