The Program Manager Analyst EN will provide functional and specialized support, strategic direction, and oversight of the operations and business functions in support of AFRL enterprise, specifically the Engineering and Technical Management (EN) division.

Responsibilities
  • Support organizational management through information gathering, analysis, and project management support including the recommendation of alternative business operational models.
  • Support, guide, prioritize, and communicate the S&T priorities of AFRL, external (foreign and domestic) partners, industry, academia, and small business, both written and in PowerPoint.
  • Assist with coordinating, organizing, managing, and participating in technical reviews, studies, and analyses.
  • Manage records in various systems
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum ten (10) years related work experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the DoD OR
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of related work experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the DoD.
  • Possess an active secret clearance.
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the technical/professional discipline you are performing
  • Ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and process related to their area of expertise.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) Office Applications (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Skype, Teams, and Word), Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, Zoom, and applications for access to the World Wide Web (WWW) including MS Internet Explorer, Edge, Google Chrome, and Firefox.
  • Knowledge and basic understanding with G-suite and other common, cloud-based services
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to gain cooperation from others through tact, courtesy, and diplomacy and the ability to maintain good working USG relationships
  • Ability to do a variety of duties, to include business operations, calendar/schedule management, correspondence and data repository, document preparation, electronic records management, information systems operations and management, meeting/event coordination and execution, suspense tracking, and travel management.

  • Sufficient fine motor skill for use of computers, calculator with an ability to withstand repetitive keyboarding for extended periods of time
  • Visual, auditory and communication abilities sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Ability to kneel bend and twist at the waist on an occasional basis,
  • Ability to push, pull, carry and lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and more on an occasional basis
  • Ability to travel by plane and safely operate a motor vehicle.
