Program Management Specialist
The Opportunity:

As a program management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, an experienced program and project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of client acquisition strategy. You'll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You'll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project, Power BI, and the NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), and through regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, project analysts, and Navy and DHS stakeholders.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting DoD or DHS acquisition and program management offices, including producing ACAT milestone artifacts and contract packages and performing Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle, including DoD 5000 Adaptive Acquisition Framework, NAVSEA or PEO processes, and DHS MSAM/SELC
  • Knowledge of PRs, CDRLs, SOWs, and POM budget cycles
  • Ability to lead program risk management efforts and working groups, develop dashboards and program metrics in Power BI, manage planning in NEP, and use MS Project and Microsoft Office to schedule and track work
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience supporting U.S. Navy and DHS programs
  • Knowledge of NEPS planning system, Standard Procurement System (SPS), SharePoint, Power BI dashboarding, and EVM
  • Knowledge of DHS reporting
  • Ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders, facilitate working groups, craft reference guides, track action items, and produce presentations and diagrams in PowerPoint and Visio
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications
  • DAWIA Certifications
  • PMI CAPM or PMP Certification
  • Completion of DAU Coursework

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
