Full Job Description
Seeking qualified professionals to support Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aviation Safety (AVS) programs through program analysis, coordination, and mission execution activities supporting acquisition, financial, and program control functions across the National Airspace System (NAS). This role supports high-impact aviation safety initiatives, modernization efforts, and emerging technologies shaping the future of the National Airspace System (NAS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support program and project execution, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of technical and administrative activities
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to support program planning, lifecycle acquisition management, and decision-making
  • Provide audit/inquiry support (FOIA, OIG, GAO), congressional or leadership reporting
  • Support investment planning, AMS/CIP-related analysis, and program reporting using FAA systems and governance processes.
  • Monitor and track program performance, including cost, schedule, and technical progress, and prepare status reports for Government stakeholders
  • Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning for program and project activities

Applicant Preferences
  • Applied experience in program management support, program controls, or analytical support activities
  • Experience working with FAA Headquarters and supporting cross-organizational collaboration and executive-level communications
  • Familiarity with program reporting, budgeting, scheduling, or acquisition support processes
  • Experience supporting technical or aviation-related programs and stakeholders
  • Experience tracking and archiving UAS Certificates of Authorization is desired

  • Master's degree may be waived with eight years of experience in performing the above duties and a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or other related fields
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident (minimum 3+ years of U.S. residency) and Public Trust approval
