Overview

The Program Analyst provides support to U.S.Army Nuclear and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Agency (USANCA) to include study and assessment of USG, DoD, Joint, and Army Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and counter-proliferation guidance issues.

Responsibilities

· Provide research and analysis of USG, DoD, Joint, and Army CWMD guidance, regulatory issuances, and doctrine.

· Provide operations and information technology staff support to USANCA to assist the office in the execution of its responsibilities for developing CWMD guidance using database management computer systems; collecting, analyzing, presenting, communicating, and filing information related to CWMD guidance, implementation and compliance, planning, and attending meetings, conferences, and briefings, as required.

· Participate in meetings: support and/or attend meetings, conferences, briefings, seminars, training courses, inspections and exercises as directed.

· Review information and Provide Report: monitor available information sources for items that have significance to the Army in matters relating to CWMD.

· Conduct research and analysis as directed on topics pertaining to CWMD-related matters; and recommend studies for approval and assignment as additional tasks by the Government.

· Support meetings, to include content development, in progress reviews, preparatory sessions, and meeting synopsis/notes.

· Review and update as required information on NIPR and SIPR versions of Intelink pages.

Qualifications

Required:

 

· Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized engineering, scientific, technical, management, or related discipline OR

· A Bachelor’s Degree in Program Management, International Relations, National Security Studies, Area Studies, Biochemistry, Physics, Nuclear Engineering or a related scientific, security or management field.

· Experience: 2 to 6 years’ experience

· Working with a Service HQ and/or DoD leadership Interacting with Service Staff, JS, and OSD organizations

· Working chemical or nuclear surety I&C issues at a guidance or operational level

· Clearance: TS/SCI
