Full Job Description

The Leidos National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) Program is looking for a Program Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) newly created Strategy and Engagement Organization (ASE). ASE is comprised of several lines of business and staff offices essential to the FAA's mission as well as the execution of Flight Plan 2026. Specifically, this work directly supports the FAA’s safety mission and statutory requirements across multiple functional areas including safety oversight, security, and FAA Reauthorization implementation activities.

The incumbent will provide high level program management and analyst support to executives and key stakeholders from multiple staff offices and/or lines of business under the FAA Strategy and Engagement Organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders across FAA, Department of Transportation (DOT), and other federal agencies.
  • Directly responsible for the business operations of AAT to include full lifecycle meeting facilitation, logistical coordination for engagement sessions, and monitoring the office mailbox.
  • Support executives and technical actions for the FAA Administrators, management team, and staff—including logistical support, administrative briefings, and urgent action items.
  • Directly responsible for the development and finalization of all documents delivered to the Chief Administrative Officer, internal and external stakeholders, as well as Congressional hearings.
  • Utilize internal systems (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, E2, Concur, or agency-specific tools) to manage workflows and communication.
  • Coordinate and manage domestic and international travel arrangements, including processing country clearances, travel authorizations, and expense vouchers while adhering to federal travel guidance and budget parameters.
  • Conduct in-depth research to lead and/or support FAA staff with special projects and routine tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent written communication skills are a must. This position requires the incumbent to proof, edit, and finalize official documents using independent discretion on completion and disbursement.
  • Ability to communicate to various levels of management, with the capacity to multi-task, strong organizational skills, budget adherence experience, and ability to organize meetings consisting of agency and external stakeholders with a broad range of specialties and interests including members from professional aviation organizations are required.
  • High proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with editing and proofreading official documents.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security clearance.
  • Position requires in-person support five days a week, FAA or DOT Headquarters in Washington, DC. There is not a telework or remote option.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in federal government contracting.
  • Working knowledge of FAA systems.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe and SharePoint.
  • Prior FOIA experience is highly preferred.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
