Summary

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Marine Corps Ground Weapon and Information Technology System of MARCORSYSCOM.

Duties

Help

  • You will lead program analysis and research efforts to gather, evaluate, and formalize information necessary to support complex acquisition programs and projects.
  • You will develop, review, and coordinate program and acquisition documentation, schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and performance metrics to ensure successful program execution.
  • You will advise program managers, team leads, and senior leadership on program issues, process improvements, risk mitigation strategies, and recommendations to enhance mission effectiveness.
  • You will analyze complex functional and technical issues, interpret data, develop solutions, and present findings and recommendations through reports, briefings, and executive presentations.
  • You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve program challenges, build consensus, and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and acquisition requirements.
  • You will evaluate organizational and program performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement management initiatives that increase program efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing Department of Defense acquisition, program management, planning, budgeting, and execution processes, as well as the ability to analyze complex program issues, develop strategic recommendations, and support senior leadership decision-making. Demonstrating strong communication, analytical, and team-building skills while managing program requirements, schedules, budgets, and acquisition documentation throughout the program lifecycle.
