Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse employee levels
• Proficiency in building effective relationships with plant leadership
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Goal-oriented self-starter with team leadership skills
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a high-volume environment preferred
• Familiarity with union environments preferred
• Background in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage small teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ensure production targets are met and drive continuous improvement
• Lead safety initiatives and enforce safety protocols
• Analyze quality KPIs and guide team leaders on issues
• Allocate manpower effectively and manage absenteeism
• Participate and lead activities for improvement in safety, cost, quality, and throughput
• Collaborate with support groups for problem-solving and resource mobilization
