Compensation:

$71,000 - $106,000 per year

Compensation is based on experience, education, certifications, and overall qualifications.

What You'll Do:

  • Review production schedules and forecast labor requirements to ensure efficient staffing and timely completion of production goals. Manage and maintain time and attendance systems while assigning daily responsibilities to associates based on operational needs.
  • Lead daily start-up and cell meetings to communicate production goals, safety expectations, quality standards, and operational priorities for the shift.
  • Execute operational plans to meet or exceed production, quality, safety, delivery, and GMP standards while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, scrap, efficiency, and throughput. Identify production challenges, remove operational bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence and ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, waste reduction, productivity, and process optimization.
  • Participate in and support Kaizen events, 5S activities, and other continuous improvement projects within assigned production areas.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Materials, Engineering, and Leadership teams to improve processes, resolve operational issues, and support overall plant performance.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and sustaining standardized work, best practices, and visual management tools to support operational consistency and long-term process improvements.
  • Recommend and support improvements related to production methods, equipment performance, product quality, safety, and workplace organization.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor associates and front-line leaders to improve performance, expand skillsets, and strengthen bench depth and succession planning within the department.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and develop talent while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Effectively manage conflict, provide constructive feedback, and navigate difficult conversations in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Execute operational and production playbooks while driving accountability and ensuring consistency in daily operations.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization through strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Serve as a liaison between associates and leadership, helping support teams through operational changes, process improvements, and business initiatives.


What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing principles, tools, and applications.
  • Continuous Improvement experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting or leading process improvement initiatives and operational projects.
  • Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • KPI management and root cause problem-solving experience required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and coach talent within a manufacturing environment.
