The Production Manager - Cell Services is responsible for leading the Texas Cell Services (TCS) department consisting of 15 operators and 2 Process Specialists that provides critical cell maintenance support to the Freeport chlorine production facilities. This role is accountable for workforce planning, scheduling, safety performance, budget management, and the efficient execution of cell maintenance and rebuild activities to support reliable chlorine production and minimize production loss risk.

The Production Manager serves as the primary interface between Freeport diaphragm and membrane cell operations and Olin Cell Services, providing technical leadership and strategic coordination for rebuild activities. The role actively participates on multiple corporate cross-functional teams to optimize rebuild timing, support capital and business planning, and ensure the effective utilization of resources associated with diaphragm and electrolyzer rebuild programs. Additionally, this position drives continuous improvement initiatives, leverages new technologies and best practices, and supports the advancement of cell maintenance capabilities across Olin operations.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the Texas Cell Services (TCS) organization, including employee development, performance management, and representation of Cell Services within Freeport site leadership teams.
  • Manage workforce scheduling and cell parts inventory to deliver safe, reliable, cost-effective, and timely cell maintenance support for all Freeport chlorine production facilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and project management oversight for cell rebuild capital projects, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Serve as an active representative of TCS on corporate cross-functional teams focused on rebuild optimization, capital planning, business planning, and resource management.
  • Develop and manage the TCS operating and capital budgets, ensuring achievement of cost targets and responsible stewardship of resources.


Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree* in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • A minimum 8 years of Industrial and/or Manufacturing experience; 10 years of experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing personnel, developing employees, and leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of chlor-alkali operations, including diaphragm and membrane cell technologies, with proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience leading maintenance, operations, engineering, or capital improvement initiatives, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and organizational skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions based on operational and financial data
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and possess a valid U.S. driver's license.


*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
