Full Job Description
Job Function:

Oversee daily operations for cabinet manufacturing. Initiate, Drive and Lead production teams focused on improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire production process from start to finish.

Monitor workflow and resolve disruptions.

Supervise, motivate and provide feedback to production staff.

Set performance standards for direct reports and provide feedback.

Assist direct reports in all HR activities including recruitment, evaluations, promotions, disciplinary action and terminations.

Organize and lead training activities.

Utilize lean tools to drive continuous improvement.

Liaise with other departments including Purchasing, sales, customer service, engineering and maintenance.

Develop and utilize daily, weekly and monthly KPIs to monitor and report on performance.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills:

Self motivated with strong interpersonal communication and cross functional skills.

Teamwork skills.

Leadership/ supervisory skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong customer service bias.

Skills:

College degree preferred or experience equivalent.

Knowledge and skill in MS office software.

Knowledge of ERP systems.

Knowledge of wood working products used in cabinet manufacturing (preferred).

Experience with lean and continuous improvement (preferred).

4- 10 years of experience in a management capacity.
