Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C , Python).

Preferred qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to navigate complex business organizations, manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders and consult optimal solutions.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, overcome complex challenges and scale effectively across a large organization and distributed team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages to both technical and business audiences.


About the job

As a Product Technology Manager on the Tools Development and Automation team, you'll be responsible for managing solutions that make the broader gTech support and services organization more efficient. You'll help drive the development of tools and will be involved in ideating required product features and designing/implementing quick and scalable solutions. You will work with Google's infrastructure to handle big problems over large datasets.

You'll be working as a part of an Engineering team responsible for developing and supporting tools, prototyping proofs of concept, and writing/reviewing technical design documents to meet the needs of our services teams. You will adhere to Google's software development best practices and work in close partnership with other Project/Product Management and Engineering teams.

  • Build and action product architectures and solution roadmaps, including the design of infrastructure necessary to support the business objectives of stakeholders.
  • Create launch programs with partners to ensure that new products and feature releases are tested before broad-scale deployment.
  • Perform implementation reviews, promote new product features and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
