Your role and responsibilities:As the Product Specialist for the Material Movement & Specialty Solutions Business Line, you'll work closely with local sales managers, end customers and global product teams to drive the long-term profitable growth of the Motion NEMA Motors division's product portfolio in the US. A very good understanding of AC Motors together with domain and market know-how are essential to be successful in this role and to leverage the full potential of the product to successfully meet customer needs
You will be mainly accountable for:- Define and deliver optimal technical solutions by translating customer requirements into clear scope, specifications, and value propositions.
- Drive customer acquisition and order intake in collaboration with sales and global product management, ensuring successful project conversion.
- Own technical solution continuity by ensuring seamless handover to engineering and maintaining accountability for solution integrity and cost throughout execution.
- Strengthen market position through customer engagement and insights by building strong relationships, supporting marketing activities, and identifying trends, gaps, and product improvement opportunities.
Qualifications for the role:- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering preferred) and 6+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment OR Associate's Degree and 8+ years experience, overseeing multiple products and working hand in hand with roles in Engineering, R&D and Technical Sales.
- Solid knowledge of medium to low voltage AC Motors and applications associated - Preferred.
- Good networking skills, ability to lead by influence with a collaborative and solution-focused approach.
- Skilled in managing complex customer relationships and effectively resolving escalations.
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
