Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years in product safety and compliance engineering.
• Experience in product development preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEC/EN 61010-1 standards.
• Familiarity with SEMI S2/S8 and IEC 60825-1 standards is a plus.
• Basic understanding of EMC principles preferred.
• Hands-on ability in product safety testing.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams on compliance initiatives.
• Knowledge of domestic and international electrical safety regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Manage product safety and EMC compliance activities with development teams.
• Integrate with design teams for early risk assessment and compliance work.
• Coordinate testing events with suppliers and testing labs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations like CE and NRTL.
• Conduct safety analysis at both circuit and system levels.
• Provide safety recommendations to engineering teams.
• Maintain essential compliance documentation and reports.
• Coordinate EMC pre-compliance and validation activities.
• Communicate best practices for safety compliance.
• Potential for travel up to 10% for domestic and international duties.
