Product Owner

DSN is seeking an experienced Product Owner to support an onsite team in Irving, TX. In this role, you will work directly with Business stakeholders to gather requirements, then partner with the Architecture team to translate those requirements into Epics and Features for delivery by Scrum teams. This position offers regular interaction with senior leadership and no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and clarify requirements directly from Business stakeholders.
• Partner with the Architecture team to decompose Business requirements into Epics and Features for Scrum teams.
• Lead Alignment/Value/Timeline (AVT) sessions to guide decomposition from Business to Architecture to Scrum teams.
• Build and deliver PowerPoint program slides and status updates.
• Present and communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders, primarily in virtual meetings.

Requirements
Education & Experience
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
Top Skills
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Working knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Required Skills
• Proficiency with Confluence and Azure DevOps (not Jira).
• Strong PowerPoint skills to build program slides and updates.
• Power BI skills.
• Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly in a primarily virtual meeting environment.
