Are you a tech-savvy storyteller who can translate complex cloud solutions into compelling customer value? At AWS, we're seeking a Product Marketing Manager who can shape the future of AWS Observability portfolio.
Observability has never mattered more. As organizations deploy AI applications, foundation models, and autonomous agents into production, they need to understand not just whether infrastructure is healthy, but whether their AI is reasoning correctly, whether model performance is drifting, and whether systems can self-heal before customers notice. The infrastructure behind this processes quadrillions of data points daily. This is the new frontier, and you'll be at the center of it.
In this role, you'll work backwards from customer needs to influence strategy across the portfolio. We're looking for someone who can dive deep into how modern monitoring solutions work while simultaneously crafting portfolio-level value propositions that resonate with SREs, developers building with generative AI, and platform engineering teams. You'll partner with product and GTM teams to shape positioning for modern use cases like AI application monitoring, agent observability, multicloud visibility, and proactive operations. You'll synthesize competitive intelligence, develop messaging that moves customers from reactive monitoring to autonomous operations, and drive launches that earn attention at scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with product management and GTM teams to develop portfolio-level strategy documents and guide AWS Observability services including Amazon CloudWatch and AI-powered operations capabilities in AWS DevOps Agent.
- Create and own positioning and messaging that clearly articulates value propositions to customers, from infrastructure monitoring through AI application and agent observability
- Analyze and synthesize market data from multiple sources (including direct customer feedback and competitive intelligence) to identify product opportunities and shape portfolio strategy
- Lead product launch strategies and associated plans, including naming, target audience definition, and marketing vehicles for observability services launching into an increasingly AI-driven market
- Develop technical content including presentations, demonstrations, and customer stories that educate developers, SREs, and platform engineering teams on how AWS Observability addresses modern use cases
- Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success across observability and AI operations
- Align with technical and business leaders on primary observability use cases for their specific ideal customer profiles: from multicloud visibility and cost-aware telemetry to autonomous remediation and AI application reliability
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, or experience in technology related sales, business development or equivalent
- Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
- 3+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience in product marketing for cloud infrastructure, observability, security, analytics, AI/ML products or solutions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience bringing technology products to market in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with engineering and product teams to define a product and bring it to market
- Experience working with observability, monitoring, or cloud operations technologies, including, but not limited to, metrics and logging, application performance monitoring, distributed tracing, AI/ML operations, incident management, and/or infrastructure automation
