Full Job Description
The Role

This role reports to the VP of Product Marketing and owns product marketing for the Billing product group. You will work across Product, Growth, Revenue Marketing, Sales, Finance, Solutions, Customer Success, Support, and Brand to turn customer insight into a clear story, a strong go-to-market plan, and measurable market impact.

Monetisation becomes harder as software businesses grow. Pricing models, subscriptions, payments, invoicing, and revenue operations can become a patchwork that slows launches, creates risk, and pulls teams away from their customers.

You will turn a complex commercial problem into a clear story for the people who buy, build, operate, and grow software businesses. You will own the product-area narrative and execution, while partnering with cross-functional teams on broader company positioning, category strategy, and major commercial decisions.

What you'll do
  • Build customer and market insight through research, customer conversations, usage signals, competitive intelligence, and commercial feedback.
  • Define positioning, messaging, segmentation, proof points, and the product story for your product group.
  • Lead high-impact launches, commercial initiatives, and change programs from early strategy through readiness, channel activation, adoption, advocacy, and learning.
  • Build focused go-to-market plans across the channels that matter, with clear audiences, owners, trade-offs, and measures.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Support early enough to influence priorities, packaging, enablement, and customer outcomes.
  • Equip Revenue Marketing, Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, Support, and partners with clear stories, talk tracks, proof, and practical guidance.
  • Bring competitive and market insight into product, packaging, pricing, and go-to-market decisions, and identify opportunities to sharpen differentiation.
  • Set objectives and measures for customer adoption, retention, and commercial impact. Make practical recommendations using data and opportunity sizing to highlight the business and customer opportunity.
  • Use AI to improve research, synthesis, analysis, competitive intelligence, workflow automation, and product marketing quality, with strong judgement and verification.

We'd love to hear from you if you are
  • A track record of bringing complex B2B, fintech, payments, billing, infrastructure, or platform products to market.
  • Experience leading high-impact launches, migrations, packaging changes, or commercial initiative with measurable results.
  • Strong customer discovery, segmentation, positioning, storytelling, and commercial judgement.
  • The ability to connect product detail to outcomes such as growth, retention, efficiency, flexibility, and confidence.
  • Comfort working with technical, product, finance, operations, sales, solutions, support, and executive audiences.
  • Range across launches, enablement, adoption, change management, measurement, competitive insight, and customer advocacy.
  • Examples of using AI, agents, or automation to improve speed, quality, or insight.

What good looks like

Within your first year, the Billing team has a sharper product story, a repeatable approach to launches and commercial change, stronger enablement, and a clear view of what is driving customer adoption and business impact. Product and go-to-market partners trust you to bring clarity, make smart trade-offs, and turn insight into action.
