Job Description

The Product Marketing Engineer (PME) is responsible for developing business plans, marketing strategy and forecasts for assigned product lines. The PME maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products. In this role, the PME identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.

The PME will also leverage AI tools, automation and data analytics to improve marketing productivity, accelerate opportunity identification, automate recurring workflows and enable faster, data-driven business decisions.
Responsibilities include:
  • Drive DINs to DWINs to grow NR while maintaining profitability
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to improve marketing efficiency, including competitive intelligence, cross-reference analysis, opportunity tracking, market/TAM analysis, customer targeting and recurring business reporting
  • Identify repetitive or data-intensive marketing workflows and develop AI-enabled or automated solutions that improve speed, scalability and decision quality
  • Use data analytics and AI-assisted insights to identify market trends, portfolio gaps, emerging applications and new growth opportunities
  • Maintain close relationships with top tier one customers and the respective account managers to understand opportunities
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market, including finding adjacent markets and customers
  • Plan, manage and execute all marketing activities during the life cycle of a new product (Pre RTM, at RTM and post RTM)
  • Review competitive landscape and build strategies to address gaps
  • Interface with customers and TI field sales/applications to support DINs
  • Follow up weekly and monthly on opportunities, including price escalations, customer visits, sampling activity and design-in progress
  • Collaborate and communicate product strategies effectively to cross-functional teams - price, campaigns, internet marketing, launch, sales enablement, etc.


Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
  • Master's degree in business administration with bachelors in a related engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, data analysis, business development or a related semiconductor role
  • Demonstrated proficiency and experience using AI tools, data analytics and/or automation to improve business or engineering workflows


Preferred qualifications:
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI and automation tools to analyze large datasets, automate repetitive workflows, generate market/competitive insights and improve organizational productivity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems, tools, technologies and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
