Full Job Description
Description & Requirements

The Bloomberg Terminal is the primary workspace for investment professionals worldwide, and firms increasingly need enterprise-grade ways to administer, govern and set policy for how their people work within it - the controls, compliance capabilities and administrative policies that let regulated institutions adopt Bloomberg at scale with confidence. AI is accelerating that need: ASKB has become a primary conversational interface, grounded in accuracy, transparency and trusted content, and as firms adopt AI across ASKB, agents, MCP-based tools and connectors, the controls and policies governing content access must extend across the entire Terminal experience. Bloomberg is committed to using client content responsibly, in line with its contractual commitments, and to being transparent about how its products and AI features access it.

We're seeking a Product Manager to own the enterprise controls, compliance and policy layer for the Bloomberg Terminal - the settings, defaults, permissions, administrative policies and admin experience that determine how firms govern what their users can access and do, including how Bloomberg's AI capabilities access user and firm content.

The role

Reporting to the Team Lead for Enterprise AI, you'll own this layer end-to-end - from the enterprise admin console through the platform primitives that other product teams, including AI, MCP and connector teams, build on. This is a durable and expanding mandate: as the Terminal and its AI surface grow, you'll ensure the controls, compliance capabilities and policies scale with them rather than stopping at any single release. You'll define which controls and policies to offer users and firms, design them with our engineering partners, and own the product and engineering requirements - drawing on Risk, Security, Legal, Compliance, Responsible AI, Engineering and partner product teams as stakeholders.

We'll trust you to
  • Own the enterprise controls, compliance and administrative-policy experience for the Bloomberg Terminal - how firms govern and set policy for what their users can access and do - with AI capabilities (ASKB, agents, MCP-based tools and connectors) as a major and growing part.
  • Define and, where appropriate, design the user and firm-admin controls and policies that make governance real - scopes, defaults, entitlements and control options - and align them across AI, MCP, connector and other product teams so firms experience one coherent set of controls.
  • Own the product and engineering requirements for this layer, drawing input from Risk, Security, Legal, Compliance, Responsible AI, Engineering and partner product teams.
  • Ensure controls and policies respect existing contractual rights and applicable regulation, in partnership with Legal and Compliance.
  • Own the communication strategy around this offering.
  • Define KPIs and use telemetry to shape your product strategy and outcomes.
  • Work directly with enterprise clients and Bloomberg enterprise product teams to understand how firms expect to govern access - to content and to Bloomberg's capabilities - and validate the model against real firm behaviour.

You'll need to have
  • Strong product management experience in enterprise software, SaaS or platform products, leading initiatives from concept through launch.
  • Experience building controls-, compliance-, privacy- or governance-related product capabilities - permissions, entitlements, administrative policy, controls or transparency surfaces.
  • A solid understanding of enterprise software administration, entitlements, admin-vs-user permissioning, and platform or ecosystem products such as integrations and connectors.
  • Familiarity with compliance, privacy and AI governance concepts (e.g. GDPR, CPRA, EU AI Act, DPIAs, and the regulatory obligations facing financial institutions) and how they translate into product requirements.
  • Working knowledge of AI / LLM-based products and how content flows through AI systems.
  • The ability to work across Risk, Security, Legal, Compliance, Responsible AI, Engineering and partner product teams, and to influence without authority.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication.

We'd love to see
  • Experience with the Bloomberg Terminal or Bloomberg Enterprise products.
  • Domain fluency in financial markets and how regulated institutions evaluate and approve technology.
  • Experience translating contractual or regulatory obligations into shipped product controls.
  • Familiarity with AI agent, MCP or connector ecosystems and the controls they require.
  • Experience with entitlement, compliance or governance-control systems at scale.

Salary Range = 140,000 - 295,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus

We offer one of the most comprehensive and generous benefits plans available and offer a range of total rewards that may include merit increases, incentive compensation (exempt roles only), paid holidays, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability benefits, 401(k) +match, life insurance, and various wellness programs, among others.
