Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking a Product Manager - Power Distribution and Control Assemblies to join our team. This position is based at our Edmonton, AB facility and offers benefits from day one.

Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking a Canadian Product Manager for Low-Medium Voltage Switchgear and Medium Voltage Control assemblies to join our team. This position is based at the national manufacturing facility in Edmonton Alberta. This position offers comprehensive Eaton benefits from day one.

As a Product Manager and People Leader, you will drive the full marketing lifecycle of the Canadian product lines-owning everything from strategy to execution-while developing and empowering the people who make it all happen.

What you'll do:
• Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analysis to inform product and marketing strategies while leveraging our made in Canada value proposition
• Lead product market strategies to maximize sales and profitability while overseeing product development priorities, specifications and system functionality
• Establish and manage pricing and positioning strategies that reflect competitive dynamics, ensuring alignment with corporate and market objectives.
• Direct Marketing Communications initiatives to ensure consistent product positioning and messaging in alignment with business strategy and market direction.
• Ensuring collaboration between Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing by guiding strategic product development efforts that address key customer and industry needs.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers and channel partners, ensuring effective policies, practices, and engagement standards are in place.
• Ensure the national Sales Force is fully equipped with the direction, insights, tools, and training needed to exceed sales objectives and effectively represent the product lines.
• Set Profit Plan sales goals for the business unit and strategically allocate Marketing department resources to achieve planned revenue and performance targets.
• Develop comprehensive Business Plans encompassing market opportunity assessments, segmentation, competitive landscapes, trends, target customers, investment requirements, revenue projections, financial analyses, and strategic recommendations.
• Lead portfolio management efforts to ensure product lines are clearly defined, well positioned, and effectively communicated internally and externally, while supporting cross product line and cross business unit collaboration to strengthen Eaton's total solutions offering.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage the performance of assigned staff, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and fostering an environment that encourages development, accountability, and achievement.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental goals and broader Business Unit objectives.

Qualifications:

Basic Required Qualifications:
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of related sales, marketing or project management experience.
• Previous marketing experience in the form of a sales engineer, product engineer or product/technical specialist.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Must be able to travel to the United States as needed
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional Engineer Certification (P. Eng)
• 3 years marketing experience in the form of a sales engineer, product engineer or product/technical specialist
• Technical product aptitude of electrical distribution and control systems which included LV and MV switchgear and MV control
• An understanding of relevant industrial and commercial markets and technologies

The expected annual salary range for this role is $106000 - $133000 a year.
