Overview

We're looking for a Product Manager to help define and build LSP44's next generation of AI agent and API infrastructure, in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. This is a hands-on, builder role on a small, senior product team: you'll own product areas across the LSP44 agent portfolio - spanning carrier procurement, rate & quote, dispatch, exception recovery, visibility, documents, and freight audit - working directly with forward-deployed engineers and customers to turn deep operational knowledge of how 3PLs, freight forwarders, and brokers work into shipped product.

What you'll own

You'll define the strategy and roadmap for one or more areas of the LSP44 agent portfolio and technology, grounded in direct conversations with LSP customers and the realities of how logistics service providers operate, embed, and buy. You'll partner daily with Engineering - including forward-deployed engineers working on-site with customers - to translate operational context into requirements, and you'll carry those requirements through delivery: scoping, prioritizing, and keeping trade-offs visible along the way.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own product strategy and roadmap for one or more LSP44 agent product lines and technology, in partnership with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.

• Translate deep knowledge of LSP operations - carrier procurement, dispatch, exception management, freight audit, and more - into clear, prioritized product requirements

• Partner closely with forward-deployed engineers embedded with LSP customers to surface real needs and validate solutions in production

• Write clear specs and PRDs, and drive execution across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, from definition through ship

• Ensure everything you build is designed to embed cleanly into a customer's own tech stack via API and SDK - LSP44 products are built to be embedded, not adopted

• Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure new agent capabilities are field-ready at launch

Ideal background

• Product management experience in logistics, supply chain, freight brokerage, TMS, or another operationally complex B2B/API-first domain

• Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving, 0-to-1 environment, partnering tightly with engineering rather than through hand-offs

• Strong customer instinct - able to run discovery independently and translate operator-level detail into product direction

• Experience with API or developer-facing products a plus

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline that has built your technical or analytical chops, from computer science to business

• 4+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, logistics, or infrastructure/API products

• Track record of partnering directly with engineering to define and ship technical products

• Strong written and verbal communication, able to translate between technical and business stakeholders

• Comfortable working across distributed teams and time zones

• Supply chain, logistics, or freight brokerage experience is a strong plus

• Detail-oriented but strategic - equally comfortable in the weeds of implementation and presenting direction to leadership

Compensation and Benefits:

We continually evaluate our pay ranges to reflect skills, experience, and market conditions. The base salary offered will be determined by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position, as well as the specific geographic location where the job will be performed. Base salary is one component of project44's total compensation package, which also includes stock options for all EOR and project44-employed team members, bonus or commission eligibility depending on role, and a benefits package tailored to your country of employment. Specific benefits package offerings vary by country and may include health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off, in line with local market standards and statutory programs. The base salary range for this position is $105,000- $155,000 USD.
