Job Summary:

A brilliant opportunity exists for an outstanding individual capable of fitting into this very rewarding Product Manager - Key Components role. As the market leader in professional server solutions, Supermicro is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. This is a fast moving, emerging business, and successful candidates will be able to move and adapt quickly to changing needs, manage multiple initiatives, engage at all executive levels both inside Supermicro and with partners, and have a proven record of developing products as well as business model from the ground up. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive cross-function collaboration between vendors, engineering, sales operations, and internal product teams to support the development and delivery of new products and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct market, competitive, and industry research to identify market trends, technology developments that inform future product strategies and development initiatives.
  • Support and manage the full product lifecycle, including product planning, prioritization, concept development, product introduction, launch execution, and end-of-life management.
  • Develop and communicate product strategies and recommendations through clear presentations and analysis, effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analyze inventory and demand trends and work with cross-functional teams to develop corrective actions that optimize inventory levels, improve inventory turnaround, and minimize excess inventory.


Qualifications:

  • Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree; an MBA or advanced degree in a technical field is highly desirable.
  • 2-4 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams, with a strong preference for backgrounds in product management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market, customer, operational, and financial data into actionable product recommendations.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of server, workstation, or data center hardware business models is a strong plus. Experience with CPUs, GPUs, networking, storage, or other computing technologies is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, both written and spoken, is a plus, particularly for working with global vendors and cross-functional teams in Asia.


Salary Range

$90,000 - $105,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
