Job Summary

Responsible for the product management activities of the Freewheel Streaming Hub Programmatic Module team. Primary focus on building programmatic OpenRTB Spec and API integration with demand partners within FreeWheel's SSP platform Programmatic Module. This role will own a product area within the Programmatic Module product but will also partners with other FreeWheel product managers to design and implement key features underpinning the Freewheel programmatic strategy across areas. Supports the Programmatic Module team in reaching the team objectives and keeps leadership team informed of key developments and issues in their areas of responsibilities. Partners with other product team members across Freewheel to successfully deliver on dependencies. Responsible for the relationship with engineering peers within the Programmatic Module team.

Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Support the conception, design, and implementation of capabilities that offer our customers unique opportunities to sell CTV advertising, with a particular emphasis on OpenRTB integration and API integration with demand partners. You’ll be working on the most core and important parts of a Supply Side Platform (SSP). 
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering team to guide products to launch and beyond 
  • Work with stakeholders, internal and external, to help drive high-quality decisions and outcomes 
  • Help showcase product launches in release trainings, client emails, and company webinars 

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of product management experience, ideally on the sell-side of advertising products 
  • Familiarity with, and interest in, building and scaling a SSP 
  • Some exposure to Connected TV and television advertising
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements 
  • Experience working directly with engineering stakeholders 
  • Growing track record of taking product initiatives through the full lifecycle 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adjust communications style based on your audience 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing product management activities, defining product concepts, and justifying product-related expenditures
  • Assisting other product managers in solving semi-complex problems and guiding them through larger project initiatives
  • Managing profit and loss or budgetary aspects for assigned products, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Evaluating market trends, consumer needs, and technological advancements to inform product strategy
  • Developing detailed product features, requirements, and implementation plans, prioritizing based on market needs
  • Envisioning new product features through participation in cross-functional teams, fostering innovation and collaboration
  • Coordinating with external vendors and strategic partners to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of product initiatives
  • Reviewing and adjusting pricing strategies to maintain market competitiveness and company profitability
  • Conducting periodic margin analyses to identify opportunities for product improvement and cost optimization
  • Ensuring seamless coordination among cross-functional teams to achieve product launch and lifecycle objectives
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Compensation

New York Pay Range: $125,204.74 - $187,807.12

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
