Full Job Description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Management Senior Manager of Investment Risk Implementation and Strategy, to lead a critical value stream within the Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) Chief Product Office. This role owns end-to-end product delivery, roadmap execution, and cross-functional alignment for a complex, high-impact portfolio.

This is a senior leadership opportunity focused on product strategy, digital transformation, and AI-enabled delivery—with clear accountability for business outcomes, execution discipline, and platform modernization. This leader will drive end-to-end delivery across investment, risk, implementation and strategy capabilities including integration with BlackRock Aladdin, with direct accountability for platform modernization, roadmap execution, and business outcomes.

This is a senior product leadership role owning the Investment Risk, Implementation and Strategy value stream within WIM’s Investment Solutions platform portfolio. The right candidate brings deep domain knowledge in investment management platforms, including hands-on experience with Aladdin, InvestCloud / formerly Fiserv or comparable enterprise investment platforms, and knows how to translate that expertise into delivery discipline and strategic roadmap prioritization.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop high-performing product management teams, including managers and senior individual contributors, fostering a culture of accountability and execution discipline
  • Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap delivery, and execution outcomes for Investment Risk, Implementation and Strategy
  • Drive cross-functional product delivery across business, technology, risk, and operations to ensure aligned priorities and measurable outcomes
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including backlog prioritization, trade-off decisions, and issue resolution to maintain delivery momentum
  • Analyze customer insights, business performance, and market trends to inform product direction, prioritization, and innovation opportunities
  • Identify and advance opportunities across pricing, distribution strategy, platform capabilities, and customer experience
  • Serve as Value Stream Delivery Leader, with accountability for roadmap execution, stakeholder alignment, and agile squad delivery
  • Lead platform modernization and digital transformation initiatives, balancing business-as-usual delivery with strategic change
  • Manage resources, workforce planning, and financials, aligning team capacity to business goals and roadmap commitments
  • Influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional partners to drive decisions and outcomes
  • Define and implement how AI, automation, and advanced analytics enhance product delivery, operating models, and customer outcomes
  • Lead the transition to AI-enabled product management practices, scaling efficiency and improving delivery effectiveness
  • Own and deliver against long-term (2027) strategic roadmap commitments, aligned to business impact and modernization priorities
  • Strengthen product delivery maturity and operational excellence through scalable processes, talent development, and ownership-driven execution

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Demonstrated prior experience owning or leading the change management function for large-scale, multi-workstream technology programs in regulated environments

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale delivery infrastructure, including release management, cross-stream change governance, and incident management across multiple product or technology value streams
  • Demonstrated success operating as the single point of accountability for execution integrity in complex, highly matrixed environments
  • Strong track record improving delivery reliability, speed, and operational consistency, reducing friction and enabling product and delivery leaders to focus on roadmap execution
  • Deep experience managing cross-stream change governance in regulated environments, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate portfolio-level change risk while aligning with control frameworks, audit expectations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience leading incident management and platform reliability functions, including rapid response, root cause analysis, and long-term corrective action
  • Demonstrated ability to reduce time to detection and resolution (MTTR), improving platform stability and customer outcomes
  • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), production support models, or reliability engineering practices
  • Ability to coordinate dependencies across business, technology, risk, and operations without adding unnecessary coordination layers
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to align senior stakeholders and competing priorities in high-complexity environments
  • Experience designing or evolving operating models that scale with delivery complexity, particularly within lean or flattened organizations
  • Proven ability to streamline operating models, reducing manual touchpoints while improving feedback loops, execution transparency, and decision velocity
  • Experience implementing AI/automation in delivery operations, including automated change impact assessment, AI-assisted release coordination, or predictive incident analysis, with the ability to translate these capabilities into practical operational improvements
  • Mindset oriented toward building scalable systems and automation, rather than managing manual processes

  • Hybrid Work Schedule
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Travel 15%
